PE, Swimming and Games lessons are generally taken by specialist staff from the Main School although class teachers often provide support.
Nursery children have at least three sessions per week; one concentrates on ball skills, the others on general physical development exercises. They also have “Music and Movement”. Nursery 2 have one swimming session per week.
Reception Class children have two formal PE lessons a week, approximately 20 minutes of ball skills, “Music and Movement” and one swimming lesson a week.
Class 1 children have one formal PE lesson, one Swimming lesson and one “Music and Movement” a week.
Class 2 children have one formal PE lesson, one Swimming lesson and one Games session a week.
Class 3 children have one formal PE lesson, one Swimming lesson and Games twice a week.
